Crocode was set before the challenge of a truly interesting project that would only but further improve the online shop for cyclists—our target group of customers. In the paper, the aim is to develop a 3D configurator app for bicycle wheels, what is taken into consideration as a great leap in interacting with customers for the manufacturer of cycling accessory specializations.
Since the very beginning, the client was able to target the niche market for accessories related to bicycles and managed to create a huge and wide customer base, reaching even the remotest of regions, over the period that his business had been established. The main purpose was to break the ceiling with the traditional online shopping experience and provide customers with a far larger way to view and customize bicycle wheels before they buy.
The task looked easy but really ambitious: to develop a 3D configurator application of the bicycle wheels. It had to empower the user and give the possibility of configuring according to their taste and according to the need of the client.
